If you want to use it just follow these steps: 1. go to http://www.google.com/ncr (takes you to the generic google page, not the regional redirect) 2. Type javascript:document.cookie="PREF=ID=fddb01133a87d314:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1177334998:LM=1177334998:GM=1:S=OOg0FEVzpPplxe9J;path=/;domain=.google.com" in your address bar 3. you will get a page with just PREF=ID=fddb01133a87d314:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1177334998:LM=1177334998:GM=1:S=OOg0FEVzpPplxe9J;path=/;domain=.google.com written on it, press you back button to return to google and search something 4. and BAM the new interface, its supposed to be web 2.0 (i guess) lol 5. to get rid of it, just clear your cookies
its definitely not the old one lol yeah and changed that bar to a gray/white gradient lol. funny part is, someone probably got paid a few thousand to do that!
Turns out this is actually an old interface but they scrapped it. The Javascript just redirects to when it was active and uses cookies for it.
Ok, now i noticed that I have to search someting in a box and press search. It works only on 'search' not mail, news, maps etc.
nice...very nice... it seems like they're looking to push their Google notebooks and web history pretty hard with new links up... i like the link for blog search as well..nice find!
