Cricket World Cup Final..Who will win??

I am in favour of Srilanka but Australia is my bet!!! with 237/2 in just 30 Overs and still 8 more to go and players like Ponting and Symonds on the batting pitch i expect the target to cross the 300 mark which will be more than too much in a 38 over match.

If Srilankan openers give it a bang right from the start and Sanath Jayasuriya manages to recall the memories of Singapore 1997(i guess) when he played 48 balls for 100 with 11 Sixes against Pakistan,and similarly a couple of other batsmen support him, i am sure they might make a tough game

What a batting performance by the Aussies. Haven’t seen anything like it in a long time. They completely ripped SL bowling attack to shreds. Lankan bowling was crap to say the lease. And the fielding was worse than crap. Aussies deserve to go and win today. They are by far the best team in the world. And will probably remain so for many years to come. I’m just hoping SL batting holds up to put up a decent score. Anything above 200 is a fantastic batting performance by the Lankans in my book.

Probably one of the most bizarre matches I've ever seen! Towards the end was just incredible - it was so dark the cameras couldn't even keep focused.

 

man, what a match it was, i feel sorry for srilanka. they played well, it was rain, or else it would have been a close match. last 6 overs it was so dark that player couldnt see the balls, still had to play, ummm very unfortunate.

 

I believe Australia will get the world cup.
