Does anyone know of any directories which give free trials? Something like: http://botw.org/helpcenter/sponsor.aspx They offer a 60 day free trial and don't bill you until the 60 day period is up. Are there any others like this?
Most of the software we use is not geared up for that, but i'm sure you could contact the owner and ask. If I charge a ton I suppose I could make that offer, but I charge about a 10th of what they charge, not to say being listed to mine is diluted or anything it just means that they are a little more authoritative. In my directories I get people coming back to submit another. crazy.
The free trial is for Sponsored Listings (advertisements). Most of the smaller directories do not offer advertising opporunities, or those that do charge a resonable enough fee that if you're not pleased with the results in a couple of months, you're not out a significant amount of money.
