I'm starting up a new site just for informational for my customers to come to. I already have two 3 sites registered with globat.com, but this site i dont need alot of bandwidth, just enough to put up 5 html pages and some images. Is there such a thing as a free domain registration and free hosting? One thats not like mysite.hostingsite.com or hostingsite.com/mysite . Thanks!

The first and last free domain name service I heard of was namezero.com

They're still in the domain name business, but no longer do the freebies.

No because they charge ICANN fee and prices goes over $7 with this.

Domainsite has $6.99 domains names as you can also find the tricky Yahoo offering $2.99 domains or $4.95 at Netfirms, which also has a deal, 2 domains free and one year hosting for $10 www.netfirms.com/max

However this offer is renewable at regular hosting price in the second year, about $120 yearly.

Hardly. They offer .com for $6.95; that's only $0.20 over $7 with the fee.

You can get free domain registration via DDboard as well. Though, they won't give hosting.

Register.com had an offer recently, I'm unsure if it is still going? Just be careful with anything free, it will cost you time at the very least.

I prefer to use services of www. GoDaddy.com instead of using free domain names service. To buy a nice domain you need to spend some money
