Toolbar says pr 4 but...

    One of my sites... earlier PR6 but with today's PR update ... Google Toolbar is showing PR 4 but other most of the DCs are showing PR 6.

    Please see the snapshot. So what do you think is the correct PR or is it too early to guess this?

    Well, it looks as if its been downgraded from PR 6 to PR 4, just that all DC's havent updated yet.
    Really bad luck.. sorry man

    Have the same problem but dont worry, just wait for a day or two and it will be all cool,Google is updating the Toolbar and is not done fully with it i guess so the toolbar is showing Old ranks:)

    if the pervious pr was 6 , i think your page rank has downgraded to 4. i'm sad for you. have you lost any backlinks for this site?

    Yes, the figure on your toolbar should be the latest value.. I have one site also has its PR downgraded :(

    This is the first time in my 8 years internet life any of my site's PR is downgraded :(

    Feeling quite upset because in last three months I have done so much hard work on that site.

    If you had purchased links, that's probably why it was downgraded. Purchased links are being de-emphasized in the Google rankings.

    Visual PR is meaningless if this is a real site(not a PR-trading one). As long as the amount of visitors doesnt change, whats the difference ?
