Hey guys - my next job to you: the 1st one, that would take this site offline: www(dot)guitarraclasica.cl/media/index.html will get $5. (check out the site - it tries to get acount and password numbers for your TD bank accounts - please DONT put in ur number!! its scam) What do u think about this? Did u ever get an email like this?
Hire the turks that struck here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=313275 they might do it for free
arcguy why do you think "Good" people try to close "scammer" sites ?? did you at least visit the site ? i think you dident understand what's TD stand for , the site is a scam site to take user bank account and password . it look exactly the same as the real site : http://www.tdcanadatrust.com do you get it now ?
when i open that site in firefox, the whole screen gets dimmed and says "web forgery detected" -- i've never seen that feature before, very cool -- another reason firefox rocks but yes, i agree with the above poster(s), report it to the bank...i'm guessing they have more than five bucks to go after this guy ;-)
I got that same alert but it appeared to be something generated by the Google toolbar. I've been trying for years to love FireFox but I drift back to IE. In this case I was using Firefox but it looked like Google gets the credit.
ahh didn't realize that...well then, love to google. i'm tempted to switch to IE to pump up my alexas with the IE toolbar but haven't done it. i initially started with firefox mostly because of the tabs, now i don't suppose there's much of a difference.
just do a whois, and fire off an email to their ISP, registrar and host. I bet they are gone in less than 24 hours
I used a translator to check the whois from http://www.nic.cl I think this is their host http://www.inetweb.cl
ok, ill make it $10. i am reporting the site right now. I also think that ill talk to their host - these ***** almost stole my $8,000 worth bank account.
