For the upper header, I would change the blue to a gradient grey instead. I'd also add a blue gradient to your footer, basically try to make the site not so flat

 

Yeah...2001 means a flat sort of design and a bit of gradient makes a lot of difference

 

I would like to see the header (blue at the moment) not so wide. That big blue header seems like a waste of valuable space

I would prefer to have a site with a narrower layout. I mean it may not have a large width.

colour combination is nice. fill the spaces in the layout .
u can bring the layout within the screen view. at the header and footer u place some banners or ads.

 

Site is ok, but better if u could use some gradient styles in header and other parts where looks well.
