Is link buying the best and quickest way to build traffic?

Hi, I have a new (one month old). I would like some advise on the quickest way to build traffic. I would like organic SE traffic, is that possible to achieve that thro' backlink buying?
how many links i should buy and how much should i pay per link?

 

Yes, but do this carefully and privately...

Price per link depends on the site's PR. If you have a lot of high PR links, this will help you much more with your PR rather than having tons of low PR links.

These are middle-class links but still good.
About link buying - it is the quickest way to build traffic in the beginning when you are launching a website/blog/forum, etc...However, traffic flow will be stable as soon as you make your site attractive enough to your visitors. I'm just generally speaking, so don't take it personal. My idea is that you need to attract the attention of those that will follow your paid links and come to visit your site.

there are a plenty of methods, all deponds on your budjets!

 

i think u shoul aim for websites with PR with at least 5-6 ... that way your PR will rise faster and eventually u will get more traffic.. just remember that High PR doesn't always means u get traffic... u will position better on search engines - google mostly... but it will still require time..!... good luck!

hmm.... not sure if i understand you. Good quality backlinks drain LOTS of budget, at least in my experience

but as it was mentioned before, buying backlinks may not be the best approach for increasing traffic. It depends on where u buy them from. My advice is to get them from higher popular blogs & websites with 1000's of uniques per day. Then it will be worthwhile.

PPC is definitely the most effective with the most immediate results. But of course, the most immediate hole in your pocket too

 

Probabally because I get them free of charge from people. I have thousands of backlinks and I didn't pay a dime. A lot of them are high quality ones too, like PR4+ which is great for me. Its a matter of what you do, it may vary from person to person.

Matt Cutts was talking about devaluing links purchased to increase PR...not banning a site. There is no way for them to distinguish between links purchased for advertising (traffic) and PR...so the worst thing that will happen is that your link won't count.

When you will be purchasing links, it's a good idea to purchase them for real traffic, but I think you don't need to purchase links just to improve PR. Good permanent link will cost you much, but might not bring any significant results...

In terms of investing, ROI, and getting higher PR I would suggest article submit. For instance, if I submit article with a link to some particular page and keyword, next week I usually starting getting real traffic and the PR of this page is growing (tried with start-up project and in a week got a PR3 in this way).

PPC, press releases and other plugs are the best. Link buying is good in the long run (for PageRank and SERPS) but you won't get much traffic from them.

I still get more traffic from link changes than i do from link buying

 

A good link builder can get ur site ranked high on google from mainly the link campaign alone(provided the tags on the site are done correctly). Many people can get high pr links but that wont get u into googles first page.
