    What is the best way to make money besides contextual ads?

    Give them something they want, that they must pay for!

    Have you tried experimenting with ad placements? I have a webforum that increased the daily income with 100% after I added a advertisement to the "Thanks for your post" message. Try thinking creative, find out where your users look.
