My Porsche was stolen.. This is my quest to get what I paid for.

My first car just got stolen.
Well, if you can even call it that.
Maybe the more accurate term would be "scammed".

I bought a Porsche 911t about 7 months ago, and had nothing but trouble with it.. The seller never handed over the documents.
Now, I was going to sort it once and for all - by selling the car back to him.
He was supposed to come by the day that I left on holiday to pick up the car and leave the money, and my dad was supposed to take care of it.
Well, somehow he got away without leaving the money.
No contract, no paperwork.. And now he isn't answering any of his phones.

So I figured if I couldn't get through to him, maybe someone else can.

If you could, please check out the site here at:
    http://confrontme.blogspot.com/

I didn't put a cent into the website (free website from blogger), and I'm not trying to make anything off the site (will never put up ads or anything). The sole purpose of the website is to get through to him.. And that what he's doing is wrong.

If you read the full story, and want to help, the only thing I ask for is that you help me out in terms of linking back to me, and trying to reach him.

    He can't ignore me forever..
With your help, I'm going to get my car, or my money back.

    Full story at:

    Thanks DP..

why did you pay him without getting the title for the car? and how could he just take the car back without paying you? you need to be quite dumb to have that happening to you

Now that's a pretty good reason to put your wallet back in your pocket.

Are you sure it's even a real 911? I'm no Porsche enthusiast, but it looks VERY narrow for a 911.
You sure it's not an old Datsun underneath?

iul, obviously you hadn't read the entire story, but thanks for calling me dumb, anyways.
I'd appreciate it if you'd read what I wrote instead of making assumptions.
    Its a real Porsche 911 - Its a classic Porsche 1973, 911t.

He even showed me his picture albums of what he did with it.. he spent years getting it to the state its currently in.

And yes, he came on day 1 with the parts - half the money there. Came back on day 2 for the other half, and dropped off the car.
We were supposed to pick up the documents from his house on the next day.. When he started ignoring us.

Yes, we made a mistake by trusting him..

Yeah um.. There's something about buying a new Porsche from 1973..
Starting with the fact tht they haven't been produced since 1973? :p

Uh, going to an online forum isn't going to help much. Neither is making a website about it.

Seriously, go to the police or something.

I was going to say the same thing but then I thought it might be a case of "his word vs. mine".

It might be worth a shot nevethless as it is a good chunk of change.

Very foolish not to secure the title FIRST though...you need to smack your dad for not knowing better there.

    Good luck!

I can't, though its not my fault, there is no paperwork between them.

Annoying him to the point of making him talk to me will help. Especially seeing as thats his business phone number, as well as his personal phone.
I'm sure once enough people left a message he'll get back to me.

He did know better, thing is they both knew eachother and dealt with eachother daily for over a year. He thought he could be trusted (biggest mistake ever).

I see, well go over to his house and wait :p
    Live and learn I guess.

Reminds me of ?Jeff? He had a thread several months ago of his business partner running off to Vegas and cleaning out their business bank account. He lost $11K :(

If he doesn't get back to you, just find a free SMS service which works for Germany and ask for a coder to create a PHP script that will be used as SMS bomber based on that free SMS service's gateway. Then let the war begin

If he turns of his cellphone you've wasted alot of time SMS-bombing him :b

Bring some friends and camp outside his house.

SMS messages can be received within 48 hours after they're sent, even if the receiver's phone is closed. He gotta turn his phone off for 48 hours, so the messages time out.
