Can someone tell an approximate number per day, per week or per year? Or a percentagewise of a total revenue.

    Thanks!

I remember reading somewhere that something like 45% of their entire revenue comes from the AdWords/AdSense advertising side of things. It's a lot!

But not just from AdSense. I think he's asking how much Google keeps when someone clicks an ad on our site.

Lastest reports show Google earns 99% of revenue from adsense currently. They rest is made from customized software for large businesses and soon they will be incorporating the work they have been doing to sell adspace on tv and newspapers. I consider youtube a seperate intaty though.

I do not know what percentage google takes from our adspace, they keep this very secretive and I doubt you'll find an accurate answer here or anywhere else. However I do know its in the 40-60% range normally (seems to flucuate from each click and so on). This is a pretty big chunk if you consider they make whatever you do just for selling your space, but starting sites can earn alot more money and with much less work using adsense.

I don't think anyone outside the holy Google knows. Everything in there is about privacy, you know. Google's privacy.

Well, advertising itself earn the company about 99% of its total revenues. The Adwords system, whcih is their contextual ad sysytem, proabbly accounts for a big proportion of that.

It's no longer a private company. If you can read financials it's pretty clear.

    The stock symbol is GOOG.

10 bils for the whole year still sound not that much for them. compare to how many people use adsense and how much they give away. so i will say they do about 50/50 or the most might be 60/40 (60 for them XD)

Google is probably less than 5% of the world's advertizing. It's probably less than 0.005% of government spending, worry about government more than Google. :D
