How about a section Buy/Sell, where members can sell anything, phones, computer parts, and what not? I mean we got a huge community here, I'm sure it would work out. And maybe set a rule, 10 itrader, and 1000 posts to even be able to look at the section? Just tossing an idea.
Very high standards to be there but security is a must for a section like that, true. Why would you request this if you can't even access it?

Especially those spammers that spam soon to be fully dead forums. Although selling stuff to webmasters for their site in wholesale isn't that bad if it's legit.
eBAY has more of a member base try http://www.ebay.com You should have more success there, Most people here are not looking for dishes, knick knacks, or brick-a-brac
oh Boy its Hard in such community. You Mentioned About Itrader and post o.k also lets consider green reps.too.... What will happen then???? So can we trust the members?? some are good members but what about members those who are just gaining their Itrader and Reps easily selling Warez Stuffs...?
Well this is webmaster forums so it should be limted sell here. Also those things could creat major scams on DP. So we don't need BS section for other items.

Agree with raja, dp will become a marketplace , scammers are somehow everywhere to be seen, but definately not in dp, already got some members being scam by others.
Maybe DP can have a auction site where ppl can sell their goods... Just my opinion Since this will keep the webmaster issues away from selling cell phones.. since they dont have ANYTHING to do with each other...
