GSite Crawler is by far the best Sitemaps software for Windows.
It stores data into an Access or MS Sql database so you're able to reuse internal records with external codes, for example dynamic web pages.

It is free and supports a few sitemaps "formats".

100,000 pages should not be a problem if you follow these large website xml sitemap configuration guidelines. Especially the "disable tracking and storage of extended website data" option.

What is the url of your website? When did you encounter problems? With what program and configuration?

    I still suggest http://devintelligence.com/SitemapGenerator/

I have just completed another sitemap.xml for a site that has 3018 URLs. I let it run over night as I was also transferring files via FTP but it was completed and ready to be uploaded to the server first thing this morning.

    Test results:

I am looking for the Sitemap Generator for my Conference. This is a forum containing more than 100 000 pages, but I decided first to play with some other small sites. I spent on it the whole day, so I'd appreciate your notes ...

I took two programs [which were mostly recommended on different forums]:
    VIGOS - http://www.vigos.com/products/gsitemap/
    CRAULER - http://gsitecrawler.com/en/download/
[let's use these names to be short]

I'll provide the test results and let's think:

    www.com.ge
    VIGOS - all - 123; without gifs/swf ... - 119
    CRAULER - Indexed - 87; not indexed - 59
    Google sees [through site:www.com.ge] - 71

In VIGOS I understand, that there are total of 123 urls, 119 of which are actual pages. But in CRAULER I do not understand what indexed and not indexed mean. Please explain if you can. And why there are such differences in the total number of links?

    nic.net.ge
    VIGOS - all - 9; without gifs/swf ... - 3
    CRAULER - Indexed - 4; not indexed - 6
    Google sees [through site:www.com.ge] - 8

    www.businessethics.ge
    VIGOS - all - 37; without gifs/swf ... - 28
    CRAULER - Indexed - 41; not indexed - 15
    Google sees [through site:www.com.ge] - 24

    http://listing.marketing.ge
    VIGOS - all - 34; without gifs/swf ... - 31
    CRAULER - Indexed - 34; not indexed - 11
Google sees [through site:www.com.ge] - none

    http://tbilisionline.ge
    VIGOS - all - 339; without gifs/swf ... - 292
    CRAULER - Indexed - 295; not indexed - 1047
    Google sees [through site:www.com.ge] - 137

Please explain why there is so big difference in figures

    Thanks

I personally use Makeasitemap.com. It is quick and easy and works perfectly for my 7000+ page website.
