Since GMail has been offering over 2++GB storage for emails, I'm sure most of us don't even really delete junk mails. So, up to date, how many emails do you have in your GMail Inbox? I currently have 3009 emails!
I have like five email accounts and my Digitalpoint Inbox is like packed so my Gmail only has like 1000 emails and I did a clean up a while ago but I love how you get 2GB space it rules!
Even if you delete an email, Google keeps it indefinitely. Screw that. All it takes is one hack, or one disgruntled employee to have tons of personal information, such as passwords, bank account #s, credit card numbers etc exposed, even if you delete the emails as soon as you get them. If you've got a website, start using Thunderbird and use your own email address, like
5084, of which 2051 are unread, with an additional 1500+ in my spam box. I use gmail for most everything. Whenever I sign up to anything online that requires an email, thats what I use. On top of that, I have a few business emails, and one personal email address for my friends and family.
I have about 10k emails in my gmail now. Probably the highest here. I have never deleted even a SINGLE mail till date, and I was among the earliest users of Gmail...
GMail is like spyware. It scans you email messages and delivers targeted ads based on the content of your message. If it was any other company besides Google, no one would use it because it's exactly like spyware. Anyway, I don't call that free, I call that intrusive.
I have Inbox (2542) Starred Chats Sent Mail Drafts (74) All Mail Spam (712) Trash You are currently using 379 MB (13%) of your 2845 MB.
I have 4094 emails altogether (in archive) I never keep them in the inbox once i have read them unless they are really important
