    Hi there,

I am selling the domain www.williamwilberforce.info. William Wilberforce was the famous politition who abolished the slave trade. If you have respect for history you would know the importance of this man's history and the big change he made to the world today.

I know it is a .info domain although it would be perfect for an information site. This domain is the perfect site for someone with interest in this field. No spelling mistakes, no hyphens and it is perfect for a purpose.

I am not going to put a BIN or reserve price, just make an offer if you want it...

    Regards,
    Kieran Taylor.

Have you ever realize that pointing out the above is bumping a wrong posted thread?

It\'s wiser ignore these topics because most of the time they are posted here deliverately rather than mistakenly, whether because OP is a newbie unable to post in the right section and unable to wait and spread reputation, or because a DP member simply is playing the smart guy in the belief that his/her sale or auction will bain more exposure here.

Suggestion is report the thread to a mod so they can get their corresponding infraction... that seems is what they really want to.

if the user is not newbie and trying to get attention this way i guess his domain is not worth much
if he's newbie i also say that it's not his fault. I mentioned countless times to put a sticky to this area and say "it's not allowed appraisals or sale requests/offers" but nothing happened

Once that i truly accidentally put an appraisal to an other area, i got an infraction point...

Interesting point of view that makes me see the things from another approach.

Maybe that is all about, sticky guidelines so people have a better idea on the content to be posted here.

Thanks for point me at :)

    Hi there,

Thanks for the infractions guys, and thanks for the lack of understanding that I may of posted in the wrong section. Considering the description is "For discussion related to registration, transfers, reselling, etc." I just thought it would go in this one seen as it is before the correct section which I didn't see.

However I do see I posted in the wrong section, sorry about that, but I am sure you have worse thing to infract, a quick PM would of been enough for understanding.

    Regards,
    Kieran Taylor.

    Don't take it personally
It happens all the time users especially newbies (that i don't blame as i said before) to post here appraisal and sale offers/requests

You were just the "lucky" to push the issue inside your topic
Usually we just say it's a wrong area and ignore the topic or a mod moves it to the appropriate area

    Agreed.

Sometimes the mods on DP are a bit infraction happy :p Once I got 4 infractions for bumping a thread in the Buy Sell Trade section :(

A friend of mine says that the worst about infractions is that they have expiration time but when they are due the infraction remains forever in the control panel

Yeah, I wish they'd disappear once they expire. I've got 3 pages of infractions when I view my Profile Page
