    Hi!

I wanted to see what people thought about the new background I put behind my google ads on my website. Also, is this even allowed?

    http://www.slickcoupon.com

The top ad is the one I'm talking about.

    Thanks!

Does look very nice, but the cynic in me says it draws undue attention to your link unit and therefore probably isn't allowed. Only Google could confirm one way or the other.

Should I take it down, add it to a different page, and then ask google if its alright?

or should I just send them my URL and ask them if its alright that I leave it up there?

Also, what is google's e-mail address?

    Thanks!

Google has said that backgrounds are okay in the past. There was even a package of backgrounds for Adsense that was being sold. However this was BEFORE they came out with their rules on placing images next to ads.

I would suspect they have no problem with this, especially with ad units.

But as suggested it's always best to get it straight from the horses mouth.

FYI: I've noticed a little better click through on the ads that I used backgrounds for as long as they didn't draw away from the design of the page. I for one like them a lot.

This may sound like a poor question, but does anyone know google's e-mail address?

I think it is allowed, many people blend their ads, is that against TOS?
