Could this mean peace?

Dr Zakir Naik, who has spent his life so far in bringing peace between people, has invited Pope Benedict XVI for an open interfaith dialogue.
Do you think it could mean peace?

Oh please! Not when we have the same thug preaching a different message when he thinks the infidel isn't watching:

Every Muslim Should be a Terrorist

Come on, give the dirty kaffir some credit! We know ;)

But I think this really could mean peace if both the communities listen carefully to him instead of ignoring him. He has done a lot in India for bringing the Muslims and Hindus closer there.
And I'm pretty sure he'll succeed here too InshaAllah if we forget our differences and try to come closer.

So, world peace is decided by these two people eh, to get to the point truthfully it will NOT mean peace, no one will even care..world peace can only be achieved when we disregard religion.

This must a small part from his debate where he says that "IF this thing is so and so, then every Muslim should be a terrorist".

    Lame!

I agree. It's lame for every muslim to be a terrorist. Some have to supply the explosives, some have to build the bombs, some have to make the plans, some have to move the money around, some have to provide logistics, some have to provide PR on forums and in the media. It's an exhaustive effort that takes place, so not every muslim can be a terorist. Even though this guys says so.

[60:8]"GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable."

This is from the Quran. It allows fighting ONLY those who fight against Muslims in the name of Religion.

Really? You're not trying to quote verses that are abrogated are you?

    I'm not your ordinary infidel.

In US and most countries that are not islamic, religion is supposed to be seperate from government. Whereas, in an islamic country religion equals government.
So if islamic religious people openly liked christians that would probably mean a lot to the islamic government...
But if christian religious people openly liked islam that would probably not mean as much to the US or similar governments...
I don't think a lot of talk will bring about peace, because talk means very little.
The only thing I can think of that could start to bring about peace, is the end of terrorist attacks throughout the world. I read gtechs post about Dr Zakir Naik, and this guy is promoting terrorism. Why would you think we would even care about anything Naik has to say or what he thinks? He sounds like just another terrorist to me, I'm not catholic but I don't think the pope should lower himself by having a conversation with him.

The funny thing about Islam is that it is dualistic, means both is right and wrong at the same time and decisions can be made according to ones mood.

At the other hand its interesting to look at the history and what it shows about this dualistic approach and its fruits.

    That speaks clear by itself.

In clear text, it is simple schezophrene and one who has worked with schizophrenic patients knows what it means.

Thats interesting...then why are islamic facist terrorists trying to start a war with the USA and with Israel? none of them are of a single religion, and in fact, muslims live in both countries....furthermore, neither of them have declared a holy war against Islam.
