BOTW lost its PR

Today I was updating the PR of the site in my directory and I was really shocked to find out that botw.org lost its pagerank from 7 to 0

I though it was some problem with phpLD PR updater and checked the site in iWebTool and found out that it has indeed lost its PR. Similarly, a lot other PR4 sites too lost their PR, and most of them were directories :(

Another important site that lost its PR is nsf.org. The PR went down from 8 to zero. Something weird is happening

The Pr is going to update soon.

All these changes are temporary, usually happen when PR update is near.. :)

I think --its just a prelude. I lost PR on my directories 2 days back --no toolbar is showing PR. But I am not perturbed at all--I am just happy that --maybe I'll het the good news after I wake up tomorrow.

i think you can expect many directories, running similar scripts or directories with very little original content, to experience the same drops in PR.

I don´t have any of my sites in botw, only a few clients have submitted there. And I have told them it is on their own risk, so either way ... I don´t care. :D

Agreed. Nothing is happing. I recommend that you check pr only on new pages that you know did not have pr before. And do not check the pr of any expired domains you will most likely get some funny results everytime.

I did not start this thread, I was just letting the "thread starter" know that the directory in his avatar/sig is also showing a PR0.

I agree that we need to wait and see how things shake out. I don't really see any evidence that the update has begun.

However, that being said, it is interesting that all data centers are showing a zero (for botw.org). Usually during a shakeout I see a rollback on a couple of datacenters etc., but I don't recall seeing a rollback to 0 from a site like BOTW.

I am wondering if perhaps its at PR0 b/c it was reported as part of "paid link reporting thing". Pure speculation, but it did come to mind.

Going to the liquor store now to get some booze, I think we are in for a bumpy ride.
