Today when I tried and login to my adsense account, it asked me to choose a new login which would give me enhanced features. ex: choosing google account provides more facilities, earlier I had an email with hotmail. I'm really confused and stuck on creating new account.
Are you sure? I just log into my adsense account and didn't get such a request.. If it was from your email online, make sure its not a phish..
no its not a phish, It also says soon they will make it compulsory for every publisher to migrate their logins.
They say it is for better security and for staying online/logged in to all google services without needing to login/logout. and strangely I cannot seem to join my account [already existing gmail] with adsense. keeps saying a user exists, grrrr
Oh, so you're trying to change your login from whatever email address to gmail? I've done this before! (though it was yahoo to gmail). It may have already been done.. try logging in with your gmail user and same old password..
Yep I tried many times completely unable to link it to new email or create one. keeps giving me error.
this happened to me too, i was using a custom domain. It was optional about a year ago, it lets you use the same account for adsense/adwords/gmail/ig/picasa/callendar and every other google product. http://www.google.com/accounts Pierce
whan you have a Non-gmail login acount it will ask you to change you login with a gmail adress i just replace it , and they will ask all publishers to change it so get ready and open a gmail account
Not for me either. I just login to my account and it didn't asked me for any changing of account login. Yeah but i found changes in the home page of google adsense that is impressive !
They have written on it on top there, it will be made compulsory for all publishers to have gmail account soon.
I've noticed that some of my accounts got merged without my knowledge.. My Hotmail email was my log in for adsense, this got combined with analytics and gmail.. though earlier it was three seperate emails. really weird.
