Hi all I am thinking about selling a site that i never fully finished hostukguide.com - redirect hostukguide.co.uk - main domain PR2 brought this in mind for future expantion hostukreview.com hostusareview.com the design is unique including the forum design site gets about 80-120 Unique visitors a month this will be my first sale and have no idea where to start any ideas will be great if this is the wrong place to post this i am sorry
It's probably not worth much - no more than $100 for sure. You have a very small amount of visitors, which is why it's not worth much. The domains are Ok.
maybe it should be in sales but it is not for sale at this time i would never sell for as low as $100 the design and forum design must be worth more than that
'Must' be? I'm sorry, but folks don't buy pretty little Web designs - they are looking for traffic. Sorry I couldn't help you out, but I guess you'll learn soon enough.
You're right, but most people don't buy sites for the design / programming. If you want to get better money for your site, get the traffic and revenue up, then you can get more for it. ~Adam
As alredy told here It calculates on PR traffic and revenue usualy a site sells for 6-24 months revenue value
Let the market determine the value.... put it up for sale with all the relevant info and see what offers you get. Remember its only worth what someone is willing to pay.
In my opinion, a website can be valued based on various factors. Mostly it is the traffic on your website and your content which makes all the difference. Also just because of your high credibility, you may earn more. For example, just because you have a good standing in the market, your product gets a high price even though it may not have that purchasing value. I hope you understood my point.
Yeah, my last site went for about 8 times monthly revenue (YPN) but the new owner is using adsense, so he'll probably make it back in two weeks or less. The design of my site sucked but the traffic was great. In comparison, a very nice looking site I had only went for half of what my past site sold for because it received less traffic.
