Howso? I dont see how that would get any lawsuits. Theres plenty of sites out there that are along the same things. Paypalsux myspacesux etc etc

It's GOOGLE.. they have the power... plus you're using their trademark in the domain..

(and gay? Is that suppose to be an insult? That makes things worse...)

Not to me, but Im sure theres someone out there that dislikes google enough to take the risk.

Am I risking anything by just owning the domain?

I don't think so. In fact, if you like gay people that may even sound like a praise. :)

LoL. Well my thinking was, theres sites out there that are basically hate sites toward other sites, and they seem to get a decent amount of traffic/ad income.

I agree with Arson on this one...there isn't much of a legal risk, as googlesgay is akin to paypalsucks, etc.

Why don't you email google and ask them if it's ok to put adsense on your site? :) I mean - as I said - you may even create a website google-is-the-sh*t-man.com since this means a good thing for some americans. ;)

Paypal sucks is booming btw. I just looked it up.

According to dnscoop.com, it is PR5 and worth $68,000. I think if you work this site right, you could easily have a moneymaker.

But they have a valid reason to have a site like that up. what would you put in googlesgay.com? Plus is gay meant to be said as an insult (like I said) -> that would cause more problems.. unless they want to take it literally...

It could simply mean that Google is Happy. Im not the one that made the slang meaning of gay. gays did! gay in the dictionary means happy.

Zero, nothing, actually less than nothing since the law suit will cost you money.
