I have raised and slaughtered my own animals, I don't think I would eat dogs they are different then other animals there have studies done about how dogs read into human actions more then any other animal, possibly due to thousands of years of domestication I do think some of the big commerical farms have obscene conditions, and I think many people live in fantasy about where meat comes from I think it would be cool if everyone who eats meat , had kill and clean an animal one time
People like to eat meat. Let's face it, they taste better than vegetables. I honestly don't like seeing butchers butchering those pigs and other "food" animals but let's face it, we breed them for food. Dogs on the other hand are considered as pets and that's why people feel for these animals. All in all, they are just the same. They are animals with a heart and they do have feelings.
I live in New York. It takes me 45 mintue to get Soy Milk that i can afford (3.99 1/2 liter in normal supermarket VS 2.99 for a liter in Trader Joe). There are free market that organic farmer sell stuff. However, they are also far away.. so beside mail order (which can double the price after shipping). There are no way to get those alternatives
So the animals don't die? And if they do, it IS pretty? If your opinion differs from mine, let's hear it. And tell us all why you think it's a GOOD THING.
I think not eating animals is unethical because if we never ate them there would be no need to breed them thus alot of the animals we eat would have never had the chance to live.
OK, this pretty much sums it up for me. I'm calling it a night. I'm obviously fighting a losing battle here.
Borning in a shithole so small that they can't even turn, getting so big that they can even stand, getting kill without seeing any sunlight, i rather no live in the first place Anyway, i don't mind people eat meat are bad and i don't think vegan are better than meat eater. People choose they way they live. I want others to eat more meat anyway (my main income come from diet site and guess who are my visitor )
I totally agree with you, just putting a spin on things. Fact is people do eat meat and animals are raised and slaughtered to fill that need. What is a crime is how they are treated when alive and that needs to change.
I'm already late out the door for till the end of the weekend I will back... I just can't post my reply right now vanessa.
No I try to balance my food, just that I don't do well without meat in my diet and protein with everymeal (well most meals) I have tried to lower the amount of meat I need, but guess what, my body needs it. So sorry if you can't understand this, it is out of my control. I still don't have a problem with killing animals to eat.
I only eat normal meat, like sheep, chicken, pig, rabbit and sea food. and cow, tiger, elephant, zebra, bear, eagle, cat, rat, owl and deer meat-just kidding about this!
we only think eating dogs is weird becuase we are in north america and it's not commonplace for us. I went to egypt and everyone there eats pigeon, its like their chicken. they thought i was weird for thinking that eating pigeon is weird!
ohhhh no stop pasting pics thats irritating me ! can we go for discussion only ! Ewwwwwww ! Rabbit should not be treated like this ! Thats unfair
I don't know if I have had snake I have eaten deer, elk, bear, turtle, alligator , shark, kangaroo, and ostrich
Everything that moves and is not human is for eating They even eat people on some islands hahaha You people are crazy ....
I refuse to eat what I consider as "Intelligent Animals". This means I do not eat (nor would I ever eat) Dogs, Cats, Horses, Pigs, or any large birds. However, I do in fact eat chickens, and turkeys. Cows as well - and some buffalo. Fishes, I avoid the fishes because of mercury and other heavy metals they are polluted with - however freshwater raised fish are fair game. Occasionally I'll take a dose of mercury and eat shrimp. I have heard Chickens are 'intelligent' - well I have a personal grudge against turkeys and chickens, my consumption of them is for revenge. When I was a very small child about 3 chickens and a turkey chased me about, pecked at me, and hurt me - I was at a farm that a relative owned and was unfortunately left alone. Since then my psychological scars make chickens and turkeys fair game - I hate them. Cows and Buffalo? They taste pretty damn good. I never liked pork and lamb that much anyways... I'm always up for trying Soylent Green though.
