Backlink power

I'm just posting this to show some guys the power of the average joe backlink.. a while back i release a free wordpress theme called 'Pinkgirl', on that design it had a link back to my site (www.linksjuice.com) with the anchor 'Pinkgirl' and a link to the theme's sponsor.

I'm not saying 'pinkgirl' is a competitive phrase atall, and i doubt it gets any searches, but take a look now;

My site is #1 on Google for 'pinkgirl' with no keyword related to that phrase on the index.

Backlinks are powerful, with no backlinks you'll get nowhere...

yes, it's true especially when your backlinks are quality links.... I believe in backlinks power...

 

To Earn point at Google Search Engine.Just link to a relevance site which is quality link.

If I remember correctly, Yahoo is the one to list backlinks in order of importance, not Google I am afraid.

I think Jim Boykins mentioned that long time ago in his blog.

Yeah, lol.. i'm not trying to say it's an achievement, but i'm pointing out to people if all else fails for on-page optimisation, then you need BACKLINKS

Wanna talk about power?? If you choose a good keyword for title and put it in a forum post it will come up high on google if the forum is strong. Try "expand your web presence" on google. Then try "small change big result" in google. I'm Bloggeries. I added these very recently.

Another point that Terry kinda made me think about is how most people myself included always go for the big dog key words. Why not go for the little guys but corner the market? I" sure you'd get alot more traffic and sales if you were 1st page for a term that got searched 50-100X a day compared to one that got searche 20,000 but you were on page 14.

 

That wasn't the point i was trying to put across lol because LinksJuice.com and 'Pinkgirl' have no relevance atall, but yeah I definatley know what your on about!
