No, it does not accrue low value clicks just because its based in India, rather the clicks are low if the click come from India (it will still depend an extent on the niche) matter where the site is based.
Definitely low now. But, improves within two years as internet penetration is gradually improving in India.
krishna, it's nothing to do with internet penetration and its everything to do with PPP (Purchasing power parity) and buying power. Countries like USA, UK, Canada, Austrlia have higher buying power becuase users are willing to buy online using their credits cards, debits card etc. On the other hand, indians are skeptical about buying anything online. Indians always need to handle the good first before they buy. That was one of the reason, COD is popular in india. People dont like paying upfront.
hmmm thanks for the comment guys... so i guess i have to concentrate on traffic from other countries..
true for my large mixed topics site with visitors from 200+ countries indian/asian traffic about the lowest of the globe highest is EU, then US howver asian topics are among highest paying
I have an "in" domain which gets 80% traffic from India and still pays very well. Usually US, UK traffic pays best but still that doesn't mean you get 1 cent for Indian clicks - it all depends on your niche.
As per as experience is concerned -Normally a click from India and Pakistan generates 5/6 cents whereas clicks from US/UK generates 50cents +. But there are also other things perhaps to determine the value of clicks.
I have few Indian based and non Indian based web sites, both have same avrg click value, but better to get ride from Indian advertisers, they will give u less amount like monster, bharathmatrymonial etc, block them and u get more click value
Well yes Indian click generates low value clicks because of Indian traffic. Many of my freinds have a same problem.
Indian traffic pays less for factors already mentioned On of my sites with 98% Indian trafiic got on an average 7.7 cents per click in April. Another site with predominant US, UK traffic gets 17 cents per click
