My blog was ranked no.1 in google for some search phrases for the past 1 month. But when i checked today it was no found even in the top 40 or 50 results. What would have been the reason. Has google made any update.

All the external links are still pointing to my blog.

Please help me in this regard. My blog was doing very well in google and got excellent organic traffic till now.Now i cannot spot my blog in the google serp.

Please help. What should i do now?

Were the search terms competitive? If so, it could have been a manual removal by one of the editors. Or, it could have temporarily disappeared due to algorithm updates. Check back in a few days.

If your site is relatively new, it may be sandboxed. If it's the case, it'll be back in few days...

see google generally give good weight to fresh content so when your blog was new it gives good ranking as u have done some SEO work too.but to maintain the ranking u have to put fresh content with targeted keywords and u have to maintain the quality of site.
only back links is not important u have to do good onsite optimization.if possible than try to get some one way link.reciprocal links are not more important.

I have received many, many messages lately asking this type of question. I am beginning to wonder if Google is actually going through a big change right now. Please, keep us posted on any changes to your site. Thanks!

Doing a search for allinanchor:"keyword" is the best way to tell. If you have go through and search page by page looking for your URL and find it then you are not in the sandbox. But if you get tired of looking and you quit before you find it then you are in the sandbox
