It seems to me that almost everything that liberals say is a joke. It would be funny -- except that the liberals have some degree of political power in our country.
yet nothing that conservatives say is a joke....if its a joke, then say it is a joke the minute you say it, follow it up with "I'm just kidding", or "just picking"...don't wait for days before you disown what you said...but then again, they can disown $400 haircuts and "I voted against the war before I voted for it" or "I invented the internet".
I invented cheese. There I said it, the secret is out - my congressional record speaks for itself. Because of me we have cheese.
Global Warming is real - and no one invented it. The earth warms and cools in cycles, when more volcanic activity produces more CO2 the world warms - when the activity ends and the plant life on earth sorts out the CO2 the earth cools. Unfortunately we're making more CO2 than volcanoes ever did. Chlorofluorocarbons have already eaten a hole in the O3 (Ozone) layer in our atmosphere - ask an Australian. If Al Gore wasn't such a nut job on social and business issues (socialism never solved anything) I might support him. Until he becomes a fiscal conservative I will not vote for him.
But we have banned CFC's since 1995, so that takes care of the CFC argument....CO2 is also a naturally produced part of the environment...we can't help it when volcanoes erupt, nor can we help it when CO2 is produced by non-human reasons...however, if we wanted to help with that, we could plant more trees...the only problem is that new CO2 is not produced...when the earth was formed, there was a certain number of every molecule...no more, no less. How these are grouped together though changes. (think of water, the earth doesn't produce any more water than when the earth was formed, but it is redistributed every year). So what humans have done is redistributed what was already out there...so is this really a human caused problem?
CFCs do not vanish overnight... Just because you ban them doesn't mean they go away. They remain. Our country is also not the only source of CFCs and just because we banned them doesn't mean anyone else banned them - and yes it is our problem - we're burning coal and burning oil. Half the time though I hope the world destroys itself so that the temperature exceeds 300 Fahrenheit and everyone who thinks they aren't a problem melts - Indian Jones style. 'leat when everyone realizes the temperature has climbed past 150 degrees one day they will say "oops, it was our fault after all" *sizzle pop gasp* Bahahaha.
So we shouldn't be using natural resources like coal and oil? then what are they for? They obivously cause damage to the environment if they are not used appropriately (like burned)?
Leave them under the ground. Go Nuclear. Nuclear is a safe and proven clean technology that only has this aura of fear created by lunatics who have no idea how a nuclear reactor works, how the radiation is contained, and how safe it really is.
True, but after you have the nuke running you don't need the coal energy produced by coal plants. It reduces the output of coal plants in the long run. Building 300 nuclear plants using mass AC transmission lines across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America will reduce coal power plant usage. Furthermore using my Electric Highway policy the emissions from cars would be cut by more than half. Eventually it brings emissions down, power up, and innovation and jobs are created for constructions. Economies boom and doom no longer looms closer as each day comes forward. A total nuclear world, a total nuclear earth, powered rail highway roads and ethanol usage off the highways gets rid of our reliance on Iran and the middle east. While we live in a society with rail computer guided cars that travel at a moderately paced 200 miles an hour on the highway and produce no emissions whilst doing so they will shrivel up and go away without any income to fund their little temper tantrum against the west. Eventually the world will see a decline in CO emissions, levels will slow, and hopefully begin a reversal. After this my world Dictatorship will have been a success and mankind will not be destroyed in a melting heat. However, resources will then be allocated to the ADP to keep millions employed and millions more educated - furthering the overall quality of life across all countries I rule. If any of these steps do not meet with success I will force success as dictator - through all means necessary and all means available. This vague statement leaves it up to you to imagine that I would employ non-humans in my effort, be they genetically engineered superhuman, be they robots with brains, be they anything other than human. Obviously the human species is not a true success, it is the only species that destroys where it lives, ruins its food, and without its inventions and tools would never survive on its own. My species' own failure as a whole will not become my failure as a dictator of the planet.
