    Hi dp dudes,

I am thinking of offering my service on other forums aswell, and came over the sitepoint marketplace. Well, for starting a thread in the marketplace "sell services" section, they charge 10$.

Does anyone of you have experience with the marketplace there?

    Is it worth the money?

    Thanks for your replys.

Yea, it's usually worth it. Depending on what you have to offer.
Their marketplace is way better than DP's. Granted, the rest of their site blows, but whatever.

The marketplace is the only reason I ever go to SP.

It really depends on what your promoting, if your promoting. I've gotten some results from there, but free forums seem to work just as well.

Compaired to DP, at SitePoints, I got crappy results over there. I quickly stoped using them! This was on the 'Buy Advertising Space' board.

The point is I want to offer my service (2nd in my signature), which is going pretty well on DP, on other forums aswell. And as I heared, sitepoint is also a large forum.

I haven't bothered listings things on SitePoint really. Sometimes I browse the site a little bit, though.

Wait... are we allowed to discuss competing sites here?

Of course why not? I don't think that DP and SP are competitors, both sides go in completly different directions.

Thanks a lot, although I made a research before starting this thread, I didn't found that thread you posted. That's what I looked for.
