You refer your visitors to the affiliate link and this action is called affiliate marketing. In order to success, you have to follow the following 2-step process exactly. Otherwise your chances to success will be too low. 1. Researching the needs of the market. (Demand) 2. Preparing the market what it demands. Mike, How do you intend on marketing affiliate offers? (website, PPC, email etc?) Affiliate marketing is a very wide ranging subject so narrow it down to your marketing type first and start learning there. Good luck!
You can set up blogs to promote your affiliate (usually free). Or you can try Squidoo.com which is free. Advertise on craigslist.org or even myspace.com (not highly recommended).
