i'm from Egypt so i made my country in my paypal account (USA) because paypal doesn't available in Egypt.

i have a good balance in my account but it's Unverified

i want to buy domains from www.netfirms.com what can i do ?

can i verify my account with my Egyptian Visa Card or what can i do ?

 

paypal verification for US account is a lot complicated to i don think you can verify it if you are not from US.

You need to add cc, verify bank account, and verify address...and then only you will be verified.

 

For verification, if you don't have a CC, like most people.. they use VCC for verification..

 

US and Uk paypal account is different.

In a US account, adding a cc will just lift the sending limit to $10,000. In order to verify , you need to add cc or vcc, add bank account, and verify location.then only you get the verified status in paypal.

 

I dont see any point in opening a paypal account when the country is not supported as of now and since you are accessing US account from Egypt , they might even limit the account and ask for verification and all stuff .
You may try VCCs but I never used em and so cant suggest using them as they destroy the original purpose of verification .

 

so what do u suggest ppl do whose country is not supported by paypal???
lots of ppl from paypal unsupported countries earn from the internet and paypal is the only way to accept payments, then what do they do??pass up the opportunity??

paypal says its the best way to send n receive payments in the internet world wide when it is not. Isnt that basically a lie. It says in paypal's site "PayPal Worldwide".

I don know.I guess the money in that account will be stuck there.I had the same problem about $600 stuck in a US account too and still havent found any solution.

Open a new paypal account and use diff country ( one you can verify by just adding cc).

if you can send money from US pp account then send it to other account, i guess.

 

..and last time I checked netfirms doesn't take PayPal.

 

If you sign up with Paypal by providing fake information, be prepared for the consequences. Paypal may be a huge company with massive resources but sooner or later they will track your account down and since you lied about your application, you will inevitably have to be prepared to lose all your balance.

There is nothing you can do. From the moment you sign up, you are already putting your account at risk.

If you are from a non-paypal approved country then don't use paypal, find another option and use it.

Already with the egyptian IP address, they can track you down. I believe they will limit your account and ask you to send documentary proof that you are residing in the US by requesting for your US credit card statement, utility bills and all that. They may even call you. If you cannot proof that you are from that address, you will indeed have no access to the money.

This applies to creating yet another account in another country, you just be digging a deeper hole for yourself.

Don't do it. The options you have now with your existing balance is to either

1) Spend it before you get caught
2) Refund all your customers

Then look for another solution which would work for you.

What would they do to you if you go to the bank and open the account with fake identification ? Pretty much that is what you are doing anyways.

Why do people breach contracts and they fuss about it when things goes wrong or when they are found out ? They should know the consequences and know that this would be coming. It is not like there is a protective shield around you to protect you from being caught for doing something illegal here.

I'm in the US, to verify mine I used my bank account. I do not remember the details but if you have a bank account in USA you may be able to get verified, but I'm not sure and this is pretty much a guess.

 

I have verified my paypal by giving bank account, after I got a small fee on my bank account from payapl there was a confrimation code, I just inserted it and I got verified

 

That is how they do it. They send you two cash amounts in some $0.xx amount, then you must enter the two amounts exactly as they appeared in your bank account.

Do you know that Egypt is not in the UAE ? If you lied about yourself in your application, you will indeed put yourself in trouble because one day Paypal will limit your account and ask you to send in documentations to proof that you are from UAE and then you not be able to get out.

Besides, each time you log into Paypal, they will track your IP Address so unless UAE and Egypt shares the same IP addresses, you be doomed.

Also how are you going to withdraw your funds from Paypal ? Because if you ever going to withdraw the check, it will go to your UAE address.

Using a VCC is like using a Fake Driver's License or a Fake Passport and trying to get into somewhere by pretending to be someone you are not. You know what is the punishment in Egypt for pretending to be someone else is ?

This is really a very serious crime here. It is advisable that you do not start leading a life of crime, in life, you need to be honest or else you be looking across your shoulder every time.
