If so saad, I think we need to stop making n launching free templates for phpld. Why the hell are we doing it.. and also the guys who use free templates on their sites are mad... don't use the template guys, no one will submit to your site... Also, let each of us remove 3k from pockets and start buying links in ALL "paid directories" or else no one will submit to our site.. Oh gosh our directory dreams are ruined, we got no money... Oh god why were we born poor.
Well, if you are talented enough to get things going without an investment, more power to you. But time is money, too.
Thats a positive answer mike and I repect what you just said. Point here from me to some is don't discourage people who have no or less money. Let them go the harder way and achieve and if you got money, invest it and do hardwork and get faster returns. In any of the 2 ways you ul meet the success and shakehands with it, only if you have hardwork with you. -- I rest my argument --
Money is necssaray with hard work..I was not saying that don't start a directory.I was just suggesting that before starting a paid directory.Make sure you have enough money to at least get some backlinks. Also, he is new to forums so i dont think it is easy for him to gain backlinks easily. Saad
*Cough Cough* I really don't know what the OP asked for. But i am sure he never asked for suggestions on paid or free directory. Well, lol, i am not sure he even knows what a directory is....and that's i guess what he asked for. You guys went too far regarding paid and free directories. Well comeon! Each and every directory owner knows it! Ahh, i mean owner of all *popular* directories know it. The fact is "Hard Work" and "Money" both are required for a success. Hardwork is an all time process. You have to continue doing it no matter if your directory gets a PR10. "Money" well it's not for the beginners. I'm sorry Saad. But that's too soon for anyone to go with $3000 to begin with. What everyone (in the beginning) do is... start a directory. Start working on it. Link building and stuff (not necessarily paid) and see how the things go on. If it's good and you get few returns then start promoting it. But meanwhile keep on working on it. Then comes the investment part. Whatever you get, try spending 80 percent or something on advertisements and link building (now talking about paid). Slowly and slowly, you will definitely end up spending $3k and gain a good reputation. That's how thinggs goes....Isn't it. But spending $3K in a single go...Sorry Saad, only few exceptions there, not everyone can do it. No offences, no fights, this was a healthy discussion from both of you! For the betterment of directories. Now speak against me : D
I have to say Saad Gave some good advice. His advice is for a PAID directory. Which I'm sure he's familiar with. Also I don't think he was discouraging anyone from starting a directory if you don't have $XXX amount, but merely stating his experience (being that's all he has) to help others. I'm sure others can start a paid directory with no money it would just be alot harder. Again thanks for the advice. Greened for advice saad
