Ranks #1 in Google!! Niche Site!! Unique Content!!

    I just saw that one of the sites which I had stopped looking after is ranking #1 for a Niche term in Google.
    Since I have no interest in Trucks and etc., so I am not interested in keeping the site anymore.
    This is an unexplored "niche" and the main keyword is "truck lubricating service"
    The domain is the direct keyword! : TruckLubricatingService.com
    I have not attempted to monetize the site(my friend owned it before), and have no traffic stats, but I guess you can look up Overture and search Google, to see how much traffic the keyword gets.
    You can look up Overture, and the term "truck lubricating service" had searches last month!

    Domain Registered at NameCheap.

    First off, I think this is a nice site that should do well.

    Your description would leave one to believe this is an established site. Actually, this site is quite new: Domain age - 14 days (According to Whois created on 11.04.2007). All of the posts were added April 14, 2007. And I don't see it in Google search either.

    Was this a drop? I don't see anything in archive.org, but am curious.

    Are you searching from India? (from the ad on the right).

    It's top here with quotes ("truck lubricating service") but nowhere without.

    Still a nice domain with OVT. Looks like it has a few year's history too (according to whois.sc)

    9276 per month from what Overture says.

    That's why his domain is good - its targeted.

    I'd hate to see this guy's auction fall through because people are pointing out things like that. Not starting a flame - just trying to keep his thread organised.

    That was my point... that he already mentioned the search potential for this domain, and the other poster's argument wasn't necessarily valid. :)
