Do you believe we are living in the last days?

are we talkin about the last days as in a biblical view or like scientific view?
with a biblical view point i say we are in 'the last days' but that doesnt mean its going to happen tomorrow....

 

Actually to sum it all up..its all relevant to the bible.

 

The world ends when I kick off. The rest of you are on your own.

 

So are you going to be one of those weirdos they had pics of in the 1960's? With cardboard signs reading: "We're all doomed..." or "The end is near!"

Hell, the Jews are still waiting for the first Christ... no idea what the Budists are waiting for... And what about all the other religions? Which is the right one???

I've heard from many of my friends that the Antichrist is here already (possibly in Europe). I think its just a matter of time. I think we should all be prepared. I hope we are able to help out Israel when the time comes but unfortunately I don't believe we will be able to.

I believe this all contributes to the ending. No one knows when Jesus will come but He says (this is all in the chapter of Mark):

5Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 6Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. 7When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

12"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

24"But in those days, following that distress,
" 'the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
25the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Be on guard! Be alert[f]! Also there will be a great deal of earthquakes, famines and pestilence.

 

with all respects to those who say that they can determine a period, (even an exact date) for the end of days , to all those who preach cataclysmic scenarios, to all those who interpret and diffuse apocalyptic and fictitious endings...
YOU ARE WRONG! because no one knows anything about this subject!
Only the creator knows. Whether you believe in a unique spiritual/physical creator or a biological-sequential-evolutionist-phenomena.

 

Exactly...no one knows the exact date but we have clues from what Jesus preached. All we know is to be alert.

You are right. After WWI, many people thought the world would end (but obviously didn't). I don't think we should be worrying about when He comes but we should be prepared (by reading the Bible, accepting Him as our Savior, etc)

 

we should all be paying attention to the doomsday clock..after all, it is the only true source for predicting doomsday....lol.

Having read some of the other responses and yours too, I find it very interesting to note what many believe to be the Antichrist and Armageddon. Much of what people think seems to be based on a view that the Antichrist is one person and that Armageddon is like something from the movie of the same name, whereby the earth is destroyed by a meteor or some other ruination of the earth either by human hand or natural force such as the meteor scenario. If you are looking for a biblical answer to your question, then neither of these are accurate.

We have past by many sure bible signs so just relax.

 

Me? Relaxed? You could not get me any more relaxed. I am just living my life daily, doing what I asked to do and thoroughly enjoy doing it too. Waiting for the day for God to step in and bring this entire earth back to the kind of place written about in the very beginnings of Genesis.

I only hope that many more people make the opportunity to get to learn what I have learned and be as relaxed as me.
