Overall the site looks good, I like the dog on the top right. Make sure you get more original tutorials, even if you have to buy them..Good lucky!

The home community and not sure what the other link was do not really match the rest of the site. I would match the look of the site better so that it looks nicer!

This is a nice start. I agree that the dog graphic is great.

The only improvement I can think of would be to add something to the right nav to balance out the left side visually. Otherwise, great job!

The site is a bit too plain, I think the color scheme could be reworked:
    - Header black.. with a light gradient to lighter grey
    - Left panel can be orange-red
    - Content area can be kept as is

This scheme basically follows the color scheme of your buttons..

thanks, i have like 10 more right now i just havent got them up yet. still working the bugs out.

thanks, im not sure what you mean by home community... oh wait, lol dude... thats one of the tutorials lol

Thanks, im thinking i may move the ads down on the bottom in the footer and just do something different with the side bar.

Thanks, the buttons are pretty misleading i guess as actual buttons. im not sure how i can get away from that, maybe with a better frame that outlines the site from the content itself.

thanks, i may dress it up a bit more as i go but i wanted to keep it very simple and easy to navigate around. i wanted to get input from others so this has been very helpful.

thanks for all the comments and here is the pic of my dog heidi who was the model for the logo.

Cute dog! IMHO the only things that need work is that it is a little too plain, particularly since it's a photoshop site and it's all about graphics when it comes to photoshop. So add more graphic appeal since that's what you're teaching/selling to your visitor. Also, in Firefox, your left column gets jumbled up on top each other. Check your line-spacing so that your text doesn't layer on top of each other.

Great start though... Will check back to see what you've done. :)

Very creative header. As the site scrolls down however, it gets very blan. Think of creative sidebar content.

Thanks, she is 6 years old now and a lot fatter:eek: i been trying to get it less plain looking and still be easy to spot what to click on. im not sure what i can add the the sidebars to make them more attractive. i been toying with the background but im still not happy with that either. the left column is piped in from chikita ads so thats their doing.

thanks, im trying to think of something but dont know what else i can put in them.

You know what migh be kinda cool is to have green paw marks walking across the top.... under the Photoshopdog.com image. That way it would fill in some of the white space.
