Hi there, I don't know why but I always liked this domain name. It can stand for electronic education or English education and I know that it can have a real value if comes with a website but this hope of mine never came to reality since 2005. Most of the other extensions of this domain are taken and .info was my share that I think is one of the best extensions in internet education field. Thank you all for taking your time for appraisals.
Great and Thank you for your appraisals, But how can it worth reg fee while all the following extensions are registered: .com .net .org .info .biz .mobi .cc .de .ws .cn .org.cn .hk .com.tw .eu .gr .pl .ru ,... It can't be an accident I guess.
Well, unless EEDU has a meaning in another language as it has no meanings in English, I can't see it being worth anything more than reg fee.
Well, With the reason you mentioned, just single full word dictionary domains have value more than reg fee.(i.e. ebook.com for reg fee. LOL) I think everybody knows edu is EDUcation in short, if you don't I will be happy to provide you the links to answers.com or wikipedia, just let me know. "edu" is well known as education or educational and "e" prefix is usually stands for "electronic" like "eBook", "eLearning", "eCity" or "eMedia", Do these words make any sense to you? If not see the e prefix in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_(prefix) or: http://www.worldwidewords.org/topicalwords/tw-eaa1.htm For sure you can't find any word called "elearning" as single word in english traditional dictionary. Also you can take a look at these: http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/EEDU http://catalog.ferris.edu/programs/172/ You can say there is no such single word in english but you can't say now , Does that make sense ? Anyway thanks for taking your time but just wanted to make it more clear for you.
Absolutely eBook.com is worth heaps of money, but eEdu.info can't be compared with it as "edu" is not a word, it is short form for education, & having 2 "e" at the beginning, doesn't really work. As you posted these names above "eBook", "eLearning", "eCity" or "eMedia", they look & sound a lot better than a domain with 2 "e" at the beginning.
I agree and for sure I am not comparing them just was a reply to your quote : So the fact is your last statement: This is really something more reasonable since it's about pronunciation rather than the meaning. Thanks.
