It's the original Napster argument... I'd say that yes, you could get in trouble for running that. You don't own the videos that you are broadcasting, but then again where are the videos coming from? Are you putting them on P2P or are other people?
No, I'm not putting them on P2P. Someone else (I have no connection to him/her) is putting them on for everyone to view. I just embeded the code on my website to let everyone view without having to download the software. There is nothing related to videos hosted on my site. They are coming from SopCast (A p2p tv broadcast). What do you think?
Can you please elaborate? Am I doing anything that is illegal? Please remember that the I have nothing to do with the broadcast, I've simply embded it into my website.
Well, if you embed copyrighted music into your website the RIAA would be all over you regardless of who is hosting the music. I see this as the same thing. I highly doubt it is legal. Sorry!
