Which type of ads pay out the most?

I was wondering if different type of ads pay differently.

For instance, do graphic ads average more than text ads or vice versa? Do full text ads pay more than the little strip of an ad?

I am asking because I want to know if I should change the ads on my website to picture ads.

I think they do pay differently but i dont know the exact figures. by the way your "Sponsored Links" should be rewriten as google hates the word sponsored on a website.

 

How could I rephrase it? What should I put instead? Should I get rid of a header for it altogether?

 

According to Google 336x280 large rectangle, the 300x250 inline rectangle, and the 160x600 wide skyscraper are most effective.

And here is a tip for image ads.

I'm not sure what the poster above was saying, this is ALL that google allows you to label their ads as:

So you can label them "Sponsored Links" and "Advertisements" anything else your getting in dangerous territory.

 

You're not allowed to suggest you picked the links and support what they do.
