Fake Craigslist Post from Soldi...I mean Marine!

The remainer of the letter would like to convince us all it was a Marine family.

The problem, Marine's don't call themselves soldiers. Marines are an elite force. Anyone can enlist and get the title "soldier."

Maybe it's fake but accurate.

I read this and it disgusted me. However true - Marines are picky about their titles (I know several myself) -- a distraught one (supposedly) such as this... obviously wasn't thinking straight.

Still, I'd love to believe this is fake. It hurts to read - and NOT because I feel sorry for him. This guy has issues. I admire him for serving his country (if it's real), but he's still got disturbing problems.

Maybe it is a fake, but be sure that there is lots and lots of people that feel this way.

No one that knew better would refer to a Marine as a soldier. Soldier is a term used in the Army. Airmen is used in the Air Force. Seamen or Sailor is used in the Navy.

The "liberal left" has attempted to portray themselves several times over the past few years, as actual members of the military in order to have their voice heard in opposition. Jimmy Massey comes to mind. There was some squirrel nut that pretended to be an Army Ranger and got his butt handed to him.

For the most part, the general rule is, liberals don't serve. This is just another leftist pretending they actually served in order for their otherwise "foul mouthed" voice to get some recognition.

I previously answered this. I pointed out that I was quite sure you felt this way and that we both know why. Are you admitting that you do not have the ability to retain what you read from post to post?

Further, are you admitting that you are actually this gullible? My guess is, you are not, but you love the message so much, you want it to be true.
