Most of your traffic come from search engines?

I just want to double check and see if the majority of people's traffic come from SE's. I'm not really getting any traffic from SE's so I'm going to optimize my front page and add keywords etc.

Yes, most of my traffic comes from search engines. The searches are closely related to the titles of the posts of my blog, but hardly any are "spot on" on the title. Most of them are long-tail keywords.

A good amount of my traffic comes from the search engines, although it varies on a day by day. Some days, most of my visitors come from Google (and they give me new ideas for keywords to target in the process), and other days most of my visitors come from referrals on other sites (forums, articles, etc.)

on my main site my 3 biggest referrers are by far the 3 major search engines, but i have a lot of different incoming links from many various sources so on a whole i'd get more traffic combined from all of them

 

A big chunk of it comes from search engines, still the most important thing in we marketing.

 

Google and tecnorati are the main sources of my traffic.

i get a lot of traffic from the search engines, mainly form google, but then a few of my blogs get's 60%+ from msn which i don't know why!

but then, search engine traffic is the real traffic, and basically we all target for that, and am happy to finally get a major part of the hits from the search engines.

 

About 30 % of my traffic comes from search engines. I'd like to raise the amount that comes from other sources, in case Google decided not to list photo sites tomorrow.

 

I run a blog through wordpress and you can see your refferals, SE's are definatey the most common way a page is visited!

 

I think you will find search engines provide the biggest number of referrals for most people.

 

Of course from SE, that's our target.

 

For me, 95% is word of mouth according to awstats
