Yes good picture. I think you will find he wasn't going to deliver electricity quite like that - Westinghouse's good propaganda at work again.

I agree that with rings in a tree 'normally' a tree only producing one set of rings a year - it may be possible for it to produce more, but given the current known facts a tree produces a one set of rings once a year - the oldest tree in existence - I think last time I read the Guiness book of records was 10,000 years old - hardly an evidence for millions of years.

I would think if you want to argue for an old age you would be better in arguing that light travels at a universal constant C (speed of light) and that the fact we receive light from billions of light years away the universe must be billions of years old - argued from red shift theory etc - but that relies strongly on two things - that C has always been universally constant (and there are some scientists who argue it isn't and it currently degrading - getting slower) and that red shift is only cause due to distance - but we already know light can be affect by gravity, etc.

Without knowing all of the facts - which is near impossible - it is impossible to reach an absolute scientific truth - a new fact or factor may radically alter a theory hence the failure of science being an absolute.

Thats the easiest way of explaining everything without telling anything.

But I am sure a new factor can never alter the theory of the bible ?

Point is no good muslim comes forward to criticize or quell such bad acts. They remain silent spectators and some are happy those barbaric acts take place. Comfortably numb!!!

Another thing is Islam is not the fastest growing religion. I have a question for you? Christianity has done so much to the poor, the sick, built hospitals...do good muslims do that?

How is this stupid? It makes perfect sense. God created many religions to give humans the opportunity to choose. Without choice there is no love and that is exactly what He wants from us.

I believe all religions do good deeds. I had heard that Islam was the fastest growing religion but I never saw any proof.

Propaganda is when they say something without valid proof to try and promote something... Prehaps this is propaganda to the masses to try and get more conversions?

Great point about light. I remembered hearing about light being stopped awhile ago which is a huge deal. I mean who knows how GOd could have spead up or slowed down the speed of light. Here is the article

    @alstar70
u know wat, its hard for me when u insult my Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Holy Quran again and again. I wish I could talk face-to-face with you.
But as that's not possible, why not shed our differences and live peacefully by enjoying our similarities. We worship the same God, don't we? Its just that u don't believe in the last Prophet (PBUH). Its okay. :)
If you want to know more similarities between Islam and Christianity brought to light by Dr Zakir Naik in an attempt for peace, go to:
irf.net and click on the "Islam and Comparitive Religions"
I hope that brings some love and harmony between us. :)

A recent convert to Islam, Abu Aminah Bilal Philips from stated that about 800 people are accepting Islam every single day in America only. He wouldn't lie if he was a convert!

Listen your profit is way off the mark!!! Didnt he go crazy and kill at the end of his life?
Look at all these religions! Its not about what we do! Its about what has been done for us!! Remember this! Jesus did not preach religion, he preached a relationship with him. No one can get to the father except through him, Believe in him and we shall meet face to face in heaven.

I am sure there is proof to science proving the bible. I am sure there might be some kind of rebuttal to what I will list. But here are some minor scientific moments in the bible.

The problem is that you don't need to prove the Bible with science. Faith is enough. But for those non-believers, they demand to see scientific evidence. I don't think that is our problem.

Funny thing about scientists is they had enough faith that the atoms will mesh and mold to create things, even though they could not see the entire process with their eyes. Well than why not faith in the bible?

It just appears that certain followers of the Muslim Faith would like to convert anyone at any rate. The point is really what makes sense to the person. Not everything is explained within in the Koran.

And one thing that just gets my blood going is: That it is believed that the man will get so many virgins on the other side. Please can I tell you as a woman. If I don't want my man double dipping here, I certainly will not want him doing that(having sexual relations with so many woman) in Paradise. What? It takes 72 woman to keep him pure? Don't we have a coined phrase for that for woman here on earth? Wouldn't that apply to the man in this instant. And do they not have like 1 - 2 wives and the rest are their concubines? To me this is not placing the woman in their proper pure respect. Being a concubines..........Ehmmmm...isnt this a harem...Maybe now a days it is called a brothel.

And What? There are so many muslim men that are so wicked. That they could not make it to Paradise? That the ratio for men to woman is 1 out of every 72 woman? In there somewhere it sounds like someone wanted to be a player and claim it had to do with religion. I could quite possibly see maybe 3 woman, but really and a big fat please!!! Reality check. Somewhere in the 72 woman, more than a handful will find that man so ugly(would really need to turn off the lights)........I could so go on.

Hmmmm....Something needs to be thought out. Because my hamster wheel is really going on this one, that I am beginning to see some smoke coming from the wheel.

Yeah I always wondered if that was true. I've heard that when you die, you are given 72 virgins?

The Koran says you will get women. It doesn't say how many.

Regardless of the number. Like my question is:

Why a shortage of Muslim men in Paradise? As a woman I would like to know. And even for here on earth. Why do they need so many concubines if they already have a wife?

I think science would have explaning to do. I know that there is low birth rates for males in any country. But why do they need so many woman.... Like I said someone wants to be a player and use religion to cover up their impure adulterous thoughts.

The bible is nothing more than a good story written by humans, voted on by committee, interspersed with some historic facts and a lot of interpretation. It was never meant to be taken literally.
