there's this pair of glasses i've been eyeing (pun intended) for a loooong time but never got around to buying it because i wasn't willing to pay $295 for the frames and $184 for the lenses.

today i bought the same model off ebay for $59.90, lens included. :(

i doubt they're the same too, the price difference is too huge. but as long as it looks like the original, i don't mind. that's why i'm a cheapskate. :(

I used to sell knockoff Oakleys & Ray-Bans one summer.

Not the same in quality, but hey, it's a freakin' pair of sunglasses...

Hey nothing wrong with being a cheapskate, that's just living life smart. As you can see by my sites, I am all about frugal and cheap.

Good job on the good deal. Even if it is not the exact same, I think the name brands are way overpriced anyway.

What you bought might be pre-owned. That's why it's cheap.

well they're two schools of thought: one is that eyeglasses are just a piece of plastic sitting on your nose, why pay that much?

the other is that it's the one part of your entire body that is looked at 99% of the time, so you want to make sure to have a good impression. sort of like clothes.

and to answer joe's question, it says "brand new". =/

how can it be lense included, did they give you a eye test too?

$295 for the frame? It must be some designer stuff...if it is selling for 59, i would say it is fake.

Are the lenses you bought prescription quality? You better check that out first. And are they supposed to be new or used? You didn't mention that in your post.
