I'm not a Muslim, I'm Catholic.. I am peace loving but I dont put up with Athiests like you trashing someones religion, especially on a forum thats based in my FREE country that protects the rights of others to worship as they please. I'll leave it at that. Its pointless to continue arguing with you because you're never going to see the bigger picture. To call up a somewhat famous internet addage, "Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded." So heres some positive muslim news for you to think about: http://muslimpositive.blogspot.com/

Now maybe you will see that just because there are radicals in a religion does not make the religion fundamentally or inherently bad. My threads were ment to invoke debate and to have you (and ly2) take a look at the bigger picture, which I dont feel that either of you have done. Its unfortunate that the two of you seem to have nothing more constructive to do than fester in the Politics & Religion forum and down-talk muslims.

I wish everyone on this forum all the peace and happiness possible.

hey i down talk Catholics too, if they got their retarded act together the HIV/AIDS spreading around the christian Catholics in places like Afric wouldnt happen on the scale it is if you allow contraception to be use. but your to backward to see the light, way to go, just allow 10 million of your members to get HIV and die, but not before they spread it around a few million good Catholics 1st.

i dont discriminate, i think all religion is nothing but BS

Before addressing the issues presented, I appreciate all of your views. I dont mean to offend anyone, but in the same aspect, its not right for any of you to make other forum users uncomfortable by attacking a religion that has been falsly linked by the media to terrorism. When it all boils down at the end of the day, those who attack others just because they have different beliefs look stupid. I'm not trying to attack anyones views on others, but I dont think anyone else should have to put up with the attacks that have been going on by some of the anti-muslim people in this forum.

I dont agree with 100% of any religion. The contraception thing is stupid, and there are so many out-dated ideals in religion and the bible. As for Africa's HIV epidemic, it has less to do with Catholicism and more to do with lack of education and preventative medicine. After all, Athiests dont have a defined stance on anything other than the inexistance of God. Unlike many Catholics, I believe life is in the blood, and thus, soulful life doesnt begin until around 18 days after conception when the heart begins beating.

Thats between you and the God you dont believe in. I would rather have a faith in something and leave it at that than to have faith in nothing and be proven wrong after it is too late. :)

I've said nothing supporting terrorism. I dont support terrorism. If you have such an issue with terrorism, why do you continue to allow others to terrorize people of other religions on this forum? Double standard?

I'm not appologizing for anything, I'm clarifying my point. :)

Your point has no foundation. Are you trying to convince everyone you are naive? If so, I commend you for the excellent job.

You can't justify compassion without belief in the supernatural.

Natural law: "Strong survive, and weak perish."
Spiritual law: "All life is important and we should love each other."

You can either follow one or the other. They are always at conflict in the world. It's just the way it works.

    ++ = +

    but

    -- = +

    It's a trick. Don't you get it?

There are two realities. You can drive down a tunnel with a painted sky. It looks real, and you could PROVE to yourself it is, you could touch it even. But there is a real sky beyond it, and when you open yourself to that world you will feel a true joy and love like never before.

    you missed one ;)

Natural law: "Strong survive, and weak perish."
Spiritual law: "All life is important and we should love each other."
Sods law: the rest of us just wanting peace without wars of religion or some dude called god, chucking a spanner in the works every 5 minutes.

What's a story without a conflict or villain! Not much of a story at all!

Just saying mercy and compassion is illogical without the supernatural.

As far as my religious beliefs. Take each religion at their motto and the focus of their prophets (the main value they underlined) essentially. Christianity = love. Judaism = law. Islam = submission. Over 80% of the world follows one of those three. The massive conflict between Arabs and Jews that engulfs the world stems from who would inherit Abraham's stuff, Isaac or Ishmael. Heck the VT killer wrote "Ismail Ax" on his arm. As in, the ax was intended for Ishmael not Isaac.

People who attack others are violating the forum rules!

How can you expect people to respect your religion when you can't even respect others beliefs.

because he is above everyone here...his thoughts are the only things that matter, and if you prove him wrong, he responds with what he meant to say to make it fit his own agenda. We have many in this forum just like him, and they are getting easier to spot everyday.
