Colleges or schools for internet marketing/ seo

    Are there any online schools out there that you can get a degree from for internet marketing and or seo?

    Personally i wouldnt, unless an employer requires it, you can learn much regarding SEO from this forum and ebooks, most people including me learnt via this method.

    If i read correctly over at bleikamp's blog, Ohio state is now offering the first search engine marketing and optimization class. i think the university system is a still a ways away from offering a specialization / major in seo

    like what w3bmaster said, results are what matter. just keep reading online and practicing.

    I learn most of things from experts and experince people of DP and many other forums. No need degree for that.

    seo is something that am doing for the last 5-6 years! but then never though of starting classes on it. seo sells, this is serious service! i guess some day it will be in classes, not exactly schools but then some institutes can teach this aswell!:)

    im not so sure id like universities to teach SEOing. i think if i were still in college right now, id still want to learn more about humanities subjects,like writing and literature, arts, filmmaking, etc).

    i'll just learn SEOing along the way.

    People who know that much about SEO would be working on their own money making sites, not teaching college courses on professors' salaries.
