This post has been removed because I will be contacting a lawyer regarding this issue. Everyone- please be wary of Google and their power to close your Adwords and Adsense accounts at anytime. They screwed me without just cause, and they can do the same to you.
Slim to nil. Rhymes with clucking bell. No point wrapping it up in flowery language. Edit: What did they ban you for (according to email)? It may help us give more advice.
I don't really know if you have a leg to stand on at the moment, but it's certainly worth a try; for $25,000, I wouldn't take it lying down.
Just got the standard template 'we've banned your account' email that everyone gets, no further explanation.
How weird that you would be banned just a few days before you would receive payment... I wonder what they banned you for.
Well if you can't do anything else about it....Sue them? I thought there was a thread a while back for a class action lawsuit against google or something.
There is more than one standard 'banned your account' email. Does it, by chance, say anything about invalid clicks or impressions?
I've got to be on the level here bradical - I don't know of anyone who has been banned just because Google doesn't like them. I also don't know anyone who has been banned without an explanation of why in the suspension email.
Thanks CountryBoy, you're right.. the email starts out "Hello , It has come to our attention that invalid clicks and/or impressions have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. " All of the traffic came from Adbrite/ Adengage/ and other PPC platforms. I never clicked my own ads or encouraged others to do so.
Okay - I can now refine my answer. You're f*cked. Plain and simple. That 25k is looking a very distant prospect.
im sure its for invalid clicks or impressions im banned too with 2,000$ in march and im sure that i have done nothing wrong . same problem all trafic was genereted with adbrite and ads engage
I think you'll have to bring them to court to see any of that money. Is that something you're prepared to do?
CountryBoy- how so, I have no control over users who come from PPC programs and how they may click on ads. I'm sure that Google can see the referrals from AdEngage and Adbrite (the webpage was on a googlepages website).
