    shoemoney,

first congratulations for this great site, but you only use paypal as apayment method.
I have alot of US and UK traffic about 80% of my traffic and would like to use the program but I'm not in a paypal country.
can you offer checks or moneybookers? it will be great.

I decided to give auction ads a go, and they're not bad for the most part. The one feature/bugfix/whatever you wanna call it that i would really like to see updated/fixed is the targeting. I just can't deal with it lasting only 10 minutes between updates. Make it at least 1 hour, until you can provide keyword targeting on the fly.

It makes no sense to display ads for auctionads that have expired....

however there are some options in the works that might help with sites that get very low traffic. Stay tuned ;)

Thanks for the quick reply shoe. This kind of support is what makes us publishers stick around with a network.

I think that once you can do the keyword-targeting on the fly, auction ads will fly off :)

I don't understand what you mean by that?

Edit: I went to your Fashion site just now and saw ads for curling irons like you requested. On Future Weapons I see PSA's....so...

The way it is right now, unless the keyword is already cached in auction ad's database, you have to refresh the page in order to get a targeted ad (relating to your keyword). Sometimes it might even take 30 seconds for it to get the right items. That means that in order to get a good ad, either a) the keyword you're using has to be already cached in auction ads b) you have to refresh the page to trigger auction ads to grab relevant auctions.

I want to see it done instantly, no more caching so to speak. The first time you load the page, you should see the right ads, no matter if your last visitor to that particular page was more than 10 minutes ago or not.

The reason you were seeing the right ads, is because the main page gets a bit of traffic and it usually has someone on it every few minutes, so the ads are targeted. Once you go deeper into each article, you'll notice that most of them show nintendo wii and xbox ads.

Future weapons has been up for less than 24 hours so i don't expect to see anything else than PSAs for the moment. Thanks for looking out for me tho :)

Np, will be good to see it in action I think.

Also, how about a something in between 120 x 600 and the 120 x 240 ... something big enough to have two auctions in it?

That might work if we didn't have much volume, but it doesn't work with over 40M hits/day. Once your site gets a reasonable amount of traffic you won't have that issue anymore. In the mean time, cut down your keywords and use the same ones on more pages.

What's this craigslist thing all about? I've heard about it a lot, esp with in conjunction with Auction Ads.

Is it safe to assume that what I at first assumed was dismal performance completely related to inaccurate statistical reporting?

Another question, if someone buys something via BIN do you still get commision as if it were an auction and that was the highest bid?

A commission showed up for April 19. Cool, I got $4.61...better than nothing I guess. Tracking must be working somewhat.

I got a commission showing up as well today. I checked the report for the entire month and found the amount to be more in line with what I was after.

It has been updated and is working - run a report for the entire month to verify this.
