    Hey guys,

Could you please try to explain me what does the attached image means?
It's one of my one year old site and that was very poorly promoted by me all the time. Some backlinks was bought back to Sep but removed in Nov, then another backlinks set was bought Feb 22, but right now it gets "huge" amount of google's traffic and I really don't know how to explain it and how to make it stable.

PS no digg or any other 1-2 days traffic sources, just google traffic
PPS attached image is a today's 12:20 PM screenshot

    Any thoughts?

I guess you have something in your keywords thats popular in the news today? Maybe your site has something to do with Virginia tech or something else popular lately? Nice tho...i hope you have some ads up

Have you checked your OTHER stats? Google search term referrers? Etc.?

It's possible that the site simply moved up the ranks or came out of the "Sandbox".

Have a read of what I wrote on the so called sandbox here.

Have you added to any directories that you may not remember?

It's an image from the statcounter.com stats. It's shows all stats that I need to analize where the site traffic from
Maybe, but back to the Nov this site has 1.5K traffic when the firt backlinks sets was purchased, but than removed after 2 month.
    I'll read it
Noup, I do not belive in a value of directories at the present days

Just check your referrers. Simple as that. The point of a stats package is to analyze where your traffic is coming from.

As I wrote all traffic from the google. Here is the current referrers that did not recognise by statcounter as search engines:

    http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/search?
    http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/search?
    http://search.comcast.net/?q
    http://search.virginmedia.com/results/?q
    http://web.search.daum.net/wsa/search?
    http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/search?

So as you can see no specific referrer here ...

Your stats program doesn't show the search queries users used to find you?

Advice: add it back. Then you can know exactly what's going on. Until then, anything else is just a guess.

Yeah you need google webmasters so you can find out what search queries people are using to get to your site.

This will also help you find what keywords work for you.

I can see all search queries via statcounter as well.
Nothing special, lots of the low targeted keywords ...
