    From the Batman camp:
    - Batman is more cautious and has excellent analytical skills compared to Superman, e.g., like in the recent movie where Lex told Superman, "Didn't your father tell you to look before you leap?"
    - though Batman lacks superhuman abilities, he's able to compensate with cunning

    From the Superman camp:
    - Batman doesn't stand a chance since Superman could literally throw the moon at him
    - One shot of Superman's heat vision and Batman would melt to death

    So, who's your bet?

    well it doesn't matter how stupid superman is because of his pure strength and abilities. I can confidently say that I'm smarter than most college basketball players, but the fact that I'm half a foot shorter than them and have 60lbs of muscle less, they will beat me one on one...

    it'd be a harder comparison if you gave both the same task and observed who had the most success at it. but one on one, superman wins every time

    Superman - just too many powers. Perhaps batman can play mindgames with him , do loius lane & lana lang at the same time and get a moral victory , otherwise its superman.

    Batman has no superpowers, all he has are just gadgets and tools.

    Superman has all the best powers - flying, strength, xray vision, etc.

    Superman will win and gets all the chicks.

    But Superman is by all means an alien. Whereas Batman is the epitome of what a human being can achieve. :)

    There's an argument that Batman is always one step ahead of Superman. BTW, found this page and there are many interesting opinions from both camps. And very funny too! :D

    I think the bat will win. He is always one step ahead of his apponents and would have figured out about krptonite and use it against superman.
