    hi there,

well it really came to me as a shock.... today when I checked my adsense account i found that for less then 50 page views i had around 12-15 click... (sorry cant disclose exact stats for because of Adsense Terms... )....

i had never seen this.. i mean i usually get around 1-2 click a day...

what should i do now.. i mean should i mail to G... about those clicks... i have my stats using SiteMeter... and they show that all recent visitors are from DP only.. somebody here clicked on my adsense... that also so much... ...

I wont like to get banned so early....

Did you enable Adsense Profit-Sharing here at DP ? If so, it might be best to disable it.

Well, you did say that the recent clicks are from DP and the only way you can see that is that the traffic might be coming from DP visitors. If you did enable adsense profit-sharing then people may just click on yours ads here. If you did not turn them on then it may be your links here which contains the adsense which have been clicked.

its better to inform goog about it , let them verify if all clicks are genuine.

Well you might just give all information about your clicks and impression to Google. They will take care about this and not banned you.

What does it have to with his question?

To OP, if you're worried just email them just to make sure there's nothing wrong.

I was assuming that because he said that the clicks are coming from Digitalpoint, he could have enable adsense profit-sharing here and people are clicking his adsense links at digitalpoint. So if that was the case, if he disable the adsense profit-sharing, he will not getting adsense clicks from Digitalpoint. He did mention Digitalpoint anyways.

If not then removing the signatures to his website here would help prevent any traffic from Digitalpoint.

I may be wrong but if the clicks are done at his web site, it would not be traceable back to a visitor who visited Digitalpoint.

Sorry, I got my assumptions wrong.

If you suspect some invalid activity, do email to adsense. However even google has acknowledged in some forums that some times a visitor tends to click most ads on the page and there could be no threat to you. However, better safe than sorry, so do email them

Yes the same thing happened to my website too. Google still paid those clicks though. I had 189 page impressions and and someone clicked my ad 24 times. I got paid $34. At the time i thought that kind of clicks will continue. But that was the only day I got that many clicks ever.

If that happened again, check your log, you may ban the IP if he comes back again to do same thing.

Well finally I have received a mail for G... and it has eased out some of my tension... ;) .. here are the mail points to be noted...

"I've noted your input and we'll continue to monitor the situation.".........
"If, in the future, you're concerned about the activity on your site, feel free to review your site's traffic logs for suspicious activity and notify us of your findings at https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/request.py?contact=invalid_clicks_contact.
This information can help us in resolving any issues".....
(This link is very useful to intimate G about fraud or testing clicks)

"I understand that you may have questions about what Google is doing to
prevent invalid click activity. Rest assured that our specialists carefully monitor clicks and impressions on Google ads in order to protect your interests as well as those of our advertisers. To do this, we use both automated systems and human reviews, analyzing all ad clicks for any invalid click activity that may artificially drive up an advertiser's costs or a publisher's earnings." ......... :(

So this is how it went.. and i am happy with the reply received...

Lastly the sign off was as usual The Google Adsense Team.. but my query was answered by an Indian Female.... ;)
