Since the Jewish thread got a lot of response, I've decided to reoffer the floor for Muslims to report all the good things they've heard come from Muslims living in Islamic countries in the last 5 years. No discussion, just links to news stories.
This Jew/Muslim thing here on P&R forum is starting to get very tedious. There are good and bad people from all religions. This could get messy unless a mod steps in and sorts it out, seems to me you are trying to cause problems KalvinB.
I'm not trying add fuel to the fire or anything, but positive Muslim news isn't a very abundant thing these days.
Just ignore these threads, they will stop soon enough, these kind of people have hate instilled on them from what they hear not what they know, so it's all good.

There is a difference between a religion and how people perform it. You and many other only act like a punk here, consistantly developing hate and discrimination while in such a hypocracy pretending you want peace.
Apparently it's a slow news day. You wouldn't want to highlight the good of the Islamic countries now would we. Nothing riles people up more than good news.

Oh yeah, Darfur, the one which the hypcritical US administration wants its oil and uranium, US is the last country that should talk about genocide,it's built on genocide of the red indians, it's got a long black history( Hiroshima, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq), segregation and discrimination against the blacks until the 60s (what kind of democratic free country is this ?) BTW, I'm not claiming that all US citizens are bad like you are claiming that all Muslims are, I know that like every nation on earth there are good and bad Americans. I just want you to stop the hypocrisy and stop playing the freedom protectors angels role 'cause you got a long shameful history of slavery, oppression, genocide, racial discrimination, and colonialism.
All you guys do is try to change the subject. I say Darfur, you go off on a rant about the U.S. wanting it's oil, completely ignoring the fact Muslims are killing each other by the millions. God forbid a Muslim is killed by U.S. troops or a Palestinian is killed by Israel. But just so it's Muslims killing Muslims, all is good.

Everything else you listed at positive news...I don't know. UAE is a cool place, seems someone is finally taking the oil money and doing something worthwhile with it. Far as Islam growing fast being a good thing, that's only an opinion All in all, at least you found something good to post. More than I can say for anyone else.
