Hi, Directory submission is one of ways to get permanent oneway backlinks. I noticed a lot of discussions about it, and specialy is it worth to submit your site to PR0 directory. I said yes: - Most PR0 directories are new directories, so it's logical that it have PR0 - After some webmaster create a directory, there are big chances he will promote it, means it will not be PR0 forever. All directories started with PR0. - Many directories with free submission switch to paid submission after they get a decent PR, but they usually KEEP already listed links.
I agree with all of your points. In my opinion, submitting to PR0 directories is just one of those things you should put into your routine.
the answer is always yes, its a backlink whether its a PR0 or a PR9, doesnt matter, get 10k PR0 links and you can get a PR5 domain. A backlink is a backlink, a free backlink is a great backlink lol
It is always a good idea to get a link, no mather if it is PR0 or PR10. Of course the PR10 link will help you more but the PR0 will also help you
I totally agree with that. as long as the directory was indexed by google it was worth submitting to directory of any PR.
Yes, third-tier search engines and PR0 directories should be included in your marketing plan, albeit on a free listing basis only. Do not spend your marketing budget with these engines and directories no matter what 'matching funds' they offer.
Well... It takes the same work to submit to PR0 than PR9, so why to waste your time?? Submitting your sites to PR9, PR8, PR7 and so on will catapult your sites almost instantly, but not at all doing the same to PR0, PR1, etc... I went to less than 1,000 visitors to more than 30,000 in 27 days submitting my sites to this list: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=304703 . . .
Do You know? Content is a queen, but backlink is a king. So backlink from a very good site (PR-0 or 1) is worth than no links. Moreover, you should submit the site in a correct category to not get removed by the directory owner...(lol)
I had a site rank PR1 for a term the first month with goole with almost all no pr directory submissions.
a backlink is a backlink... PR won't be 0 for ever Tons of any type of backlinks is the "best way"...IMHO naturally
my point of view backlink is backlink , if it's indexed by google. every kind of backlinks will help you to get better results
