Here is where dhruv noticed the same thing some 7 hours ago, his thread was moved to the main PR thread. Maybe not 15 pages, although it depends on your default posts per page settings, either way its being talked about in dhduvals thread for quite a while.

Ah, it was the "ages ago" part that threw me, I usually take that to mean "before today". :p

You're right then about it being there, but it shouldn't have been moved there either imo. This is definitely not the same topic as a 109 page old thread. The mod probably didn't bother to verify the validity of the claim before moving it. Personally I think all claims should be backed up with a screenshot at the least.

    Good find.

So, I've checked a bunch of blog posts made near the beginning of the year, and nadda so far on any of them. createsmileys makes a grand total of 2 confirmed changes. I'm guessing it's probably less than 1% of the sites affected at this time.

Damn Mong, upgrade your host already, would ya? :p

    Its not false alarm.
Let me show you screen shot ;)

But as we know from 2006 that all sites would not be updated in single update. It will take sessions.

One specific d/c should return the same for all users at the same time, but Google will sometimes redirect one d/c to another. That is why there are many false PR update threads when there is more than one set of PR numbers available and Google updates something... they redirect the d/c while they upload a new algo or whatever, and users that did not see the extra values suddenly see them.

Some of the urls posted did not show the expected PR for me upon checking.
As of right now, I see the 5 for contextual.v7n.com at iwebtool. It does not necessarily mean that urls I checked updated or rolled back, the information may have simply been redirected, coming from a different d/c at the time.
